Green smoothies are my favorite go-to breakfast or post-workout snack. Here is the recipe I've been using and why I love this smoothie so much.
Spinach is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that contribute to eye health, skin health, immune function, and lowering blood pressure to name a few! Cauliflower is high in fiber and B vitamins. Bananas are a great source of vitamin B6 which helps your body maintain a healthy nervous system and remove unwanted chemicals from the kidneys and liver. Hemp Hearts are a great source of fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6.
1 cup spinach
¼ cup cauliflower (frozen)
1 tbsp hemp hearts
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup coconut milk
Blend all the ingredients and enjoy!
